HELLiOS is a solarpunk-themed underground fighting ring and social hub operating under the guise of music/dance club. The spot offers a place to relieve stress after long day at work. Either by listening to their actual music selections, or pick someone to 'dance' with.It opens regularly on [Fridays] at 9.00 pm to 01.00 AM [EST]. However, once in a while, the establishment opens from midnights to morning, sometimes earlier on the night, when the owner or co-owner feel like it.Access the to the club is tucked somewhere on the busy alleyway of Kugane's entertainment district, offering the visitors close access to other types of venues, ranging from izakayas, karaokes, love hotels, money changers, and more.

Duels

The duels here use the typical Grindstone mechanism, with the winner being the one with 3 hits scored (or 5 depending on players agreement and current queue of fighters), and all posts on /yell.

A and B roll for initiative using /random. The one with higher roll starts with the first attack. Let's say it is A.
A makes an attack post and do a /random, to which B also responds with a /random for defense. If A's roll is higher, the attack lands, and A scores one point. If B's roll is higher, A's hit misses and/or B's defended against it.
B follows up with a post describing their defense plus their attack, and do a /random. A does a /random and respond accordingly.
Repeat until someone scores 3/4/5 hits.

Arm Wrestling

The lite version of fights, perfect for those who wish to showcase strength without going insane. We use death roll for this mode.Player who gets a 1 loses the game.

A and B rolls for initiative. Let's say B wins the initiative this time.
B does a /random and gets a 987. B writes a post about it.
A does a /random 987 and gets a 103. A writes a post about it.
B does a /random 103 and gets a 27. B writes a post about it.
Repeat until someone gets a 1.

Venue Rules

Do not impersonate staff. Staff is marked with Looking for Party icon. Staff has the right to deny you services.
No badges (cops) allowed. Full stop.
Keep fights within the arena.
Order foods and drinks to Maria, the Elezen (The Mannequin behind counter. Just handwave it).
Ask a staff if you want to try doing karaoke (yes we offer that).
If you break something, replace it or give gil of equal value.
